The Order of Saint Luke: All Saints Chapter

Mid-Winter 2026 Retreat Jan. 28-29 Oceanside, CA

Refresh your Soul through Sacramental Living:

It has been an exhausting time in our lives.

The Covid-19 epidemic, social and economic disruption,

political upheaval, and massive social services dislocations have happened one right after the other.

Christian communities have been stunned and our leaders exhausted. It feels like we're overwhelmed.

"Sacramental Living" means not only shaping our lives to live in a continual sacramental presence, but immerse our hearts in a world-wide sacrmental family as well.

Our Souls need refreshing:

The Order of Saint Luke is part of the Ancient/Future of century-old practices and music that engages our ever-changing social landscapes.

Spend January 28 & 29 at the Prince of Peace Abbey in Oceanside with us as we deepen our spirituality, grow closer to God through the Christ,  and bring us closer to each other in support and understanding.

Click on adjacent Flyer to Register.

(And tell others about this great opportunity!)

We are family together:

For centuries. Covenantal Orders have provided the source and safety for us to nourish and grow a faith able to withstand societies storms around us.

The ecumenical Order of Saint Luke is one such  "religious order rooted in the Wesleyan tradition, dedicated to sacramental and liturgical scholarship, education, and practice.”

While we are a dispersed order, with no one place of common residence or worship, we are nonetheless committed to supporting each other in Sacramental Living in order to transform our lives, our families, and the world around us.

We know we can offer each other the wisdom of our Christian tradition of worship, study, prayer, and spiritual disciplines.

And with God's help, in the presence of Jesus the Christ, and with the power of the Holy Spirit, we can all be renewed and refreshed not only in our own hearts and souls, but for the hearts and souls of all who are around us.

Welcome to the OSL of Southern California and Hawaii

We are an ecumenical covenant network in God's commonwealth for Sacramental Living.

We are composed of brothers and sisters  (and many others who are interested) across Southern California and Hawaii.   Together, we are committed to providing the spiritual support, challenge, and insight for a vital and meaningful life in our creating God, the unconditional love of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Rooted in the methodist tradition, the Order currently includes United Methodists, Lutherans, Episcopalians, Baptists, members of Holiness movement churches, and many others in the Christian families.

As an Order, we have two complementary emphases.

   • First, our corporate focus is on sacramental life

with sacramental and liturgical scholarship, education, and practice.

   • Second, we emphasize ongoing, accountable personal spiritual formation,

guided by the Rule of Life and Service.
